The calendar that Croatia follows for it's festivities is pretty much the same as the one in Spain, and many of the festivities are celebrated the same day as is done in 80% of the world. January 1st, New Years Day is what kicks of the year ending with Christmas holiday. There are many festivities celebrated in Croatia. New years Day on the first of January, Epiphany on the 6th of January, Easter Monday, Labor day on May 1st, Corpus Cristi on the 5th of August, thanksgiving, and christmas holidays. These holidays are generic. As to what local festivities are concerned, the 22nd of June is Anti-Fascism Day in Croatia, meanwhile 3 days later is Statehood Day. |
