Croatia is a city that has more than twenty counties, in which we must mention the most important capitals and cities like Zagreb the capital, Dubrovnik, Split or Zadar. All of them are enchanting and have it´s interesting aspects as well as history and importance. The destinations on the coast of Croatia are of vital importance, since under it´s domains there are more than 1000 islands. About 60 of them are inhabited. The islands are what bring in so much tourism. The most important of the islands are the Dalmatian Islands, they are an important source of income to the Croatian economy.
Croatia can be divided between coastal destinations and interior ones. Ther are some that are looking towards the Balcans and in the interior of the country and other looking towards the Adriatic and other Croatian Islands.
Counties, cities, cities and counties...all of them in Croatia have a common denominator, and that is the rising tourism levels that are becoming the main source of income over other important means of life like fishing and agriculture. |
